After Rain Falls, Flowers Bloom

This is a difficult, confusing time for many people. If you’re struggling to find peace, remember that flowers need both rain and sun to grow.

Rain doesn’t have to be bad. It waters, nurtures, and refreshes. Take this time to refresh, reset, and re-evaluate what’s important in your life. Recalibrate.

If you’re looking for answers: Jesus. He is the answer. Jesus said, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me,” (John 14:6b).

I encourage you to explore your Bible (or read online HERE) and learn more about Who God is. Draw close to Him, and He will draw close to you. He will hold you in His loving arms. Worried, anxious, scared? Talk to God. Give your fears to Him and accept His abundant peace.

As Paul said in Philippians 4:6-9:

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things. The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.

Today, look for the good. Are you able to spend more quality time with your children? Have you been waiting to start that dream project, but haven’t gotten around to it? Embrace the positives.

Trust in God, and let Him bring about growth in your life.
