Keep Asking

Are you expecting a move of God? Is there something about which you’ve been praying and praying, now feeling like you’re on the verge of giving up? Are you trusting God for a miracle that has not yet been seen?

As I was reading in Luke 18 today, the Lord put something on my heart to encourage those who are prayerfully seeking Him.

Now He was telling them a parable to show that at all times they ought to pray and not to lose heart, saying, “In a certain city there was a judge who did not fear God and did not respect man. There was a widow in that city, and she kept coming to him, saying, ‘Give me legal protection from my opponent.’ For a while he was unwilling; but afterward he said to himself, ‘Even though I do not fear God nor respect man, yet because this widow bothers me, I will give her legal protection, otherwise by continually coming she will wear me out.’” And the Lord said, “Hear what the unrighteous judge said; now, will not God bring about justice for His elect who cry to Him day and night, and will He delay long over them? I tell you that He will bring about justice for them quickly…”

(Luke 18:1-8a)

The Lord has something great for you. Don’t give up. Be persistent in prayer. Keep asking, seeking, and knocking, as Jesus says in Matthew 7:7-8.

If the answer has not yet come, keep seeking God. Don’t lose faith, and don’t lose heart. Your Father in heaven loves you and cares for you deeply. He has the answer. He knows the way. Don’t lose faith because the miracle has not yet happened.

God is BIGGER than your situation. He is stronger than what you are facing. And He has overcome the world. Through Jesus, all things are possible!

I believe there is someone out there that God is speaking to. I wasn’t planning on writing a blog post about this, but God impressed it upon my heart for a purpose. For you. To tell you to keep persevering in prayer and to not give up. Rise up in faith.

Keep praying. Keep believing.

He’s got you.
